Theta waves are a type of brain wave linked to the subconscious mind. They’re slower than alpha, beta, and gamma waves but faster than delta waves. Here’s what fascinated me: these waves occur during states of internal focus, meditation, prayer, spiritual awareness, and—importantly—during moments of creativity, intuition, daydreaming, and even fantasizing. Theta waves are thought to serve as a repository for memories, emotions, and sensations.
 
The wave itself (graphically) is also rather captivating and by taking the Theta wave, mirroring it onto itself, and spinning it 112 times, for a total of 224 Theta waves. We have created the Artefkt theta mandala. An incredibly hypnotic, meditative mandala and in my opinion is the pulse of Artefkt.
